A young hockey player's first out-of-town tournament is in many ways a rite of passage in the sport. It means the first time seeing players from other parts of the country or world and gauging where one's game stands against that of peers. For one week each year, some of the best 9/10-year-old hockey players converge on an ice rink under a domed ceiling inside the sprawling West Edmonton Mall. Founded in 1990, the Brick (Basically the Little League World Series of Hockey) has seen more than 200 alumni reach the National League...none better than Johnny Hockey though......each of his shifts make the highlight reel. Most kids have fond memories of the water park, knee hockey in the hotel hallways and numerous pizza parties......not Johnny....he was too busy being Johnny on the spot, going coast to coast with a spin-o-rama and some beauty tucks. #Ham&Cheese #JohnnyHockey #TheBrick
