Trading Card Tuesday via the Daily SAUCE is here....it has become our second favorite day of the week behind #Floor It Fridays.
This week we feature MN native Joel Otto who was one of the top American players in the '80s and '90s, he is often remembered as scoring that insanely clutch goal for the Flames back in 1989.
First off...Joel means business....coming in at 6'4" 220lbs with pure intimidation factor here....from the lightly drenched salad to the Sherwood 90-30 Extra Stiff......and lets not forget about the Double Bubble action shot here......rolled up sleeves and untied breezers just add to this iconic look. (And yes in MN we call them Breezers not pants)
We have again included the back of the card for this weeks edition.....this guy made his living being incredibly difficult to play against.....if I had to line up against him at center I too would put my head down and probably sh*t my breezers. (Quick observation note... Joel is using a Christian twig on the back of this card.....most likely paying homage to his hometown...MN.)
Here is to Joel and the great State of Hockey!
